■自己紹介 / Self-Introduction
My name is Kim and I come from the home of meatballs and salmon – Sweden. I’m a Junior Manager in the Cross-Border Department at Info Cubic Japan. I started working at here in March 2016.
I have two reasons for being in Japan, one bigger than the other. One of the reasons is that I’m married to my Japanese wife whom I met in Beijing, China. The other reason is because I think the food in Japan is the absolute best (except meatballs and salmon). As for which is the bigger reason… You’ll have to figure that out yourself!
In my free time, I like to drink and eat at Izakayas, stay fit by doing lots of different sports and exercising at home, build cardboard houses out of Amazon boxes for our cat, read my Kindle and listen to jokes from Google Home.
■自分がやっている仕事 / What is your job at Info Cubic?
I am a Team Leader and Account Manager. For the Team Leader portion of my job, I am responsible for people in charge of our global marketing accounts, so our team is really diverse with members from around the world. I also manage various Japanese and global companies’ digital marketing accounts, creating a marketing strategy, determining budgets, etc. I really enjoy working in this capacity as it allows me to work with people in different time zones.
■Info Cubicの良い点、魅力 / What do you think is the good point or attracts you at Info Cubic?
Info Cubic is very atypical for a Japanese company. One of the biggest benefits to working for Info Cubic is the global environment. It allows me to attempt to communicate with my colleagues in many different languages. Everyone here is very friendly and sociable with makes for a very pleasant working environment.
